WE BUILD SCHOOLS IN INDIA - WITH YOUR HELP!
We want to give children in India a better future. The realization of children’s dreams and, above all, the way out of poverty or social constraints depends to a large extent on school education. We at “Positive Power for Children” have been supporting the construction and renovation of schools in the southern Indian states of Kerala and Tamil Nadu for over 15 years.
In addition, we are committed to teaching the English language, providing sufficient and healthy school meals and clean sanitary facilities. We are also particularly concerned about strengthening girls, for example through self-defense courses. Since our work is voluntary, we rely on donations and welcome anyone who would like to contribute in some way.
There are already ten!
It started with one school – now there are ten new schools that we have built on the west coast down to the south. And we still have a few more to go. Because every new school brings girls and boys a little more towards a dignified and independent life.

Get children moving
Physical education classes, playgrounds and other important sports equipment that develop children’s motor skills, balance and coordination are luxuries in India. Because of this, many children’s motor skills are behind. That’s why we not only care about school education, but also about opportunities for the children to get enough and proper exercise.

We provide help for self-help
It is therefore important to us that the renovation work on the schools and sports facilities is carried out by craftsmen from the respective region. On the one hand, we ensure that the renovated buildings will continue to be maintained later. On the other hand, we support the local economy. In two respects: today’s schoolchildren are tomorrow’s craftsmen!
